Friday’s additional program

There will be programming at the university 14-18, but there is also stuff happening before/after the programming!

Tampere is a nice touristic spot and there will be a guided Fandom Friday tour (mostly in English) arranged this year as well! The meeting spot is in front of the main library Metso (Pirkankatu 2) at 11.00. The tour will take you to Moominvalley (entrance fee 7 euros, 3 euros with a student card), the Finlayson area and the magnificent Tampere Cathedral. Please let Karo know if you are coming (karo@2016.finncon.org) so we’ll know to wait for you.

The traditional table hockey tournament will be organized on Friday at 19 in the restaurant O’Connell’s  (http://www.oconnells.fi/ – Rautatienkatu 24). There’s no need to sign up for it – just show up a bit before seven.
